Dog lovers, rejoice! Jupiter, Florida is home to one of the state’s last remaining dog-friendly beaches making Jupiter and the surrounding areas a great place to live if you and your dog love the sand and water. Jupiter Dog Beach attracts visitors from all over the region. We’ve even met people from as far south as Boca Raton who make a regular trip up to Jupiter, enjoy the beach with their dog and grab a casual bite to eat at one of the areas many wonderful dog-friendly restaurants. This 2.5 mile stretch of beach extends from marker #25 at Marcinski Road, north to marker #59 at the south end of Carlin Park.
The dog beach is clearly marked and features convenient clean-up stations with free doggie bags provided by Friends of Jupiter Beach, a local non-profit organization. Thanks to visitors using good etiquette, the beach continues to be a clean and fun attraction to sit, play, stroll and dog-watch. No permit is necessary to enjoy the Jupiter dog beach with your canine and well behaved pooches are welcome to roam off-leash.
As an added perk, parking is easy and free with an abundance of spots along Ocean Drive / A1A. Additional parking is available at Carlin Park on the north end and Ocean Cay Park to the south.
