West Palm Beach

The city of West Palm Beach is the hub of Palm Beach County Florida. It serves as the government seat, cultural center, and major business district. Situated along the Intracoastal Waterway adjacent to the barrier island of Palm Beach, and extending west to State Road 7/US Highway 441, West Palm Beach encompasses a wide variety of communities ranging from country clubs to historic districts and everything in between.

West Palm is the oldest municipality in South Florida, founded in 1894, and is one of the three major cities, including Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Downtown plays host to a buzzing nightlife, soaring condo and office towers, the annual Palm Beach Boat Show, Kravis Center, museums and more! West Palm Beach is poised for growth, quickly becoming a financial sector hub as firms relocate out of the northeast U.S. to take advantage of the incredible weather and friendly tax situation.

Dining

Downtown West Palm Beach offers up an eclectic dining scene that includes American favorites and a variety of ethnic options. Outstanding local restaurants include Cafe Sapori, The Regional, Harry’s, Table 26, Agora Mediterranean Kitchen, and Il Bellagio.

Accessibility

Palm Beach International Airport is located just west of the downtown area, off Southern Boulevard. The airport is small and easy to navigate, giving Palm Beach County residents direct routes to New York, the Carolinas, Bahamas, and beyond. Additional public transportation options include the high speed Brighline train and TriRail, making connections to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Orlando a breeze.
